Me and Debbie are currently living in London, ON. This is part of her Ph.D. program. She is continuing her research on Math Education at the University of Western Ontario. We rented a room in a ranch house 400 meters from where she works, so this is nice given all the snow we have outside. Here is a photo of Debbie in the frontyard of our new home and in the backyard with her first snowgirl:

Thursday, July 31st, 2008Engagement night
Monday, May 12th, 2008Me and Debbie are finally engaged! The proposal was last night, May 11th, Mother’s day. I reaffirmed my loyalty to my future wife and future mother of my children! To the love of my life, with whom I want to build a family!
To celebrate this special event, I invited both my family and Debbie’s family for dinner at a fine restaurant in the neighborhood where the specialty is sea food. After my proposal, we exchanged rings, kissed and hugged each other. It was a very profound and beautiful moment for everyone, specially for me and Debbie.
My parents are back from Spain
Thursday, February 28th, 2008My parents are back! They were away for one year, while my father was pursuing a post-doc in Córdoba, Spain. His research went great and they were also able to learn different cultures while there.
We invited Debbie’s family for dinner at our new home, which is in the same block as my parent’s home. We waited till midnight, when my parents finally arrived from the airport. Their apartment was filled with balloons and across the living room there was a welcome sign. It was a very special night.
Over the following days we will have the opportunity to see the many photos that they took. I hope that they can share their experiences with everyone else as well. It’s good to have you guys back!
New Home
Monday, January 28th, 2008Today we are moving to our new home! As I wrote a while back, we wanted to stay in the neighborhood. I just didn’t know we were going to find a place so close by! In fact, our new home is in the same block as my parent’s home.
The apartment is small but pleasant. It has one bedroom, a bathroom, a living room and a small kitchen. But the best feature is the neighborhood, which is beautiful and calm. We are still very close to the club, so we’ll keep enjoying the swimming pool. I’m sure my parents we’ll be happy with us living close by, specially my mom. They will be back from Spain in about a month from now.
